A former senior training manager with Organon USA, Dr. Craig Gelband serves as senior vice president of Medical Education Company, where he provides strategic and medical oversight to professional education programs and materials for the pharmaceutical industry. In his spare time, Dr. Craig Gelband enjoys watching Saturday Night Live (SNL). A long-running sketch comedy show on NBC, SNL launched its 44th season on September 29 and it did so with new cast member Ego Nwodim. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, Nwodim had minor roles in the 2017 film Singularity and the web series Galactic War Room. She was also a cast member at Los Angeles' UCB Theatre, where she hosted her one-woman show Great Black Women ... and Then There's Me. While Nwodim, who replaced the departing Luke Null, was the only addition to the cast for this season, others like Mikey Day, Alex Moffat, and Melissa Villasenor were promoted from featured players to full cast members. Moreover, SNL hired four new writers: Alison Gates, Eli Mandel, Alan Linic, and Bowen Yang.
