Craig Gelband - Pharmaceutical Industry Professional in New Jersey
Craig Gelband is a seasoned pharmaceutical industry executive who currently operates as senior medical director for Ogilvy CommonHealth Medical Education. In this capacity, Craig Gelband directs the educational programs for a number of Ogilvy’s clients in the areas of anesthesia, cardiovascular care, psychiatry, and women’s health care. He is also responsible for developing new business, cultivating relationships with clients, and mentoring interns in the scientific graduate/pharmacy program.
A graduate of Duke University with a bachelor of science in zoology, Craig Gelband also received an advanced degree in pharmacology from the University of Miami. Dr. Gelband maintains his affiliation with his alma mater by participating in the Duke University Alumni Association and supporting Duke’s football and basketball teams, having never missed a home basketball game.
Prior to his current position, Craig Gelband served in several capacities for Organon USA, Inc., including medical science manager and senior training manager. Among his many duties, he was involved in KOL management in the anesthesia and pain management therapeutic area. He also designed and implemented innovative training techniques for current and new sales representatives. Prior to Organon, Mr. Gelband functioned as a senior cardiovascular regional medical liaison for Abbott Pharmaceuticals.
When not working, Mr. Gelband volunteers much of his time to helping rescue dogs. He is also an active member of his local synagogue.
